bestbuy or circuitcity, they have weekly sales so look at your ads and get one when it's on sale

I would have to say either walmart or radio shack. I think walmart would have the cheaper of the prices, but the quality would have to go to radio shack. I bought my video camera from Radio shack and was able to get an extended warranty where at Wal-Mart was just regular 1-2 year factory.

B&H is the largest whole-saler in america, so I garenty they will have the cheapest prices for new equipment.also, instead of getting a mini-dv or dvd camcorder, go with the newer hard drive camcorders. they have much fewer moving parts, so there are less mechanical assemblies that could break from wear and tear.B&H is located in New Yorkhttp://www.bhphotovideo.com
