what do my pc need so i could transfer footage from my dvd camcorder and burn it on a cd or dvd cd?

Well usually inorder to transfer video from a camcoder to ur computer you would require a tv tuner card...the tv tuner card comes with a software and u can capture video from your camcoder using that software and convert it to an mpeg or avi format..then you can write it to a cd....i guess tv tuner cards for dvd are also available...
