Default what do i need to connect my camcorder to my pc so that i can burn the...

...footage onto discs? i have a panasonic nv-vz9b camcorder,and at the moment i put the tape into the vhs tape and watch on the tv.my son is into motocross,so thats mainly what i use the camcorder for.we would like to put the footage onto the pc,so we can edit it and put it onto discs,so family can watch it.ive been looking on ebay,and there is so many different kinds of leads,im confused on which i actually need.i just want to connect the video player to the pc,so i can then save the footage onto pc.any help gratefully appreciated.

Will im not too sure but nan does that when she goes on holidays but i think you MIGHT need a USB cable but I'm not entirely sure sorry.

No no no!A USB cable is no good...You need a firewire from your nearest electrical/computer shop.If you are in the UK, i recommend maplins for a firewire.DO NOT ask for a USB lead.
