Default video format???

i just recorded a video on my camcorder....i put in the dvd-r disk in my computer and it works well!!! but i tried to edit it on windows movie maker and it says there is an error uploading it?? i think its not in the right format

Did your camcorder come with any software? It's likely recorded with a codec that Windows Movie Maker can't make use of. The cam might have included a program that can deal with those files - you might even find info or software on the manufacturer's homepage.

windows movie maker reads different format. Try converting your video to mpegneed a free converter: try super converterI hope this helps
