Which type of camcorder is better? Digital, DVD, or mini DV?

It really depends upon what your needs are. Each type of camcorder has pros and cons. For example DVD records at a lower quality than MiniDV, but it is convenient because you record on DVD and then you can watch it on DVD forever.MiniDV takes some time and/or money to transfer it to DVD, just to make it easy to watch.HDD camcorders record at or better than DVD camcorders, but lower than MiniDV. I think the digital ones are nice. You wont have any problem copying the videos to your computer. The quality is better than dvds.and the mini dvs are good for their price but have low quality.The dvds have almost similar quality as that of mini dvs, but are a bit costlty and also the video length recordable is too short.
