| If you have Windows, I'm not sure what the problem is. You might need a compatible optical drive with a disc tray and MiniDVD reader. If you have a Mac, DON'T insert the MiniDVD into the optical drive. MiniDVDs aren't compatible with Mac disc slots. If you have a Mac Pro with a disk TRAY, then it MIGHT work. Go to apple.com for more information. Also try using a USB or FireWire connection to your camera. FireWire is faster and most likely more compatible with a Mac or PC. Most Canon products are compatible with a Mac but due to Leopard's release, if you have Leopard, it might not work.Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspxApple: http://www.apple.com/Canon: http://www.canon.com/ |

| I havea Canon DC210 camcorder. It uses Mini DVDs to record and I want to get these files to my LAPTOP. I can plug the camcorder to my TV to watch them using the yellow/white AV cables but how can I get the files to my computer? Is there a converter cord that I can buy somewhere to get the AV cables to plug into the USB connection on my computer. How can I get this done? Once I get the files to my computer I have software to edit the videos and cut out the bad parts but How do I get them over to computer?
