can anyone please help me with this problem????

I use a canon fs20. the video plays great in the pixela imagemixer program (that came with it). the video plays great in windows media player.

in sony vegas, the video routinely pixelates. it is horrid. sometimes it pixelates and sometimes it doesn't.
I tried using a shorter clip. I divided the video on the camera. today I had a video that was around 2 minutes long. it still pixelated.

my computer has a pentium 4 3Ghz cpu. I have 1 GB of RAM. my computer guy said I have plenty of RAM. operating system xp home edition.
