Default Sanyo Xacti FH1 with 35mm Adapter Test

A shallow depth of field means certain areas of the frame are in focus, while other areas are out of focus. Consumer camcorders have a deep depth of field, putting everything in focus. This can make the viewer start to look at things other than the subject.

The Jag is among the cheapest 35mm adapters and not so easy to use. I'm still experimenting, but so far, not bad. I'd like to get the backgrounds a little more blurred.
