| I'm new here and praying someone can help me! I have a Panasonic Palmcorder PV-DV52. I got this as a hand-me-down present, but the previous owner swears they didn't have this problem. Who knows the truth!?!? Anyhow, I have an ongoing problem with this palmcorder. It will work for a couple of record/VCR session. Then one day I will try to turn it on and then it won't work properly. The power light will flash and none of the controls (play, rew, fwd, ect.) will work. I can see the live image on the LCD, but that’s about it. It's so weird because sometimes it will just sort of fix itself and magically work. But for the last 6 months or so it won't "fix it self" and just doesn't work. I have done a little online research and have come to find that this is a common problem with this model. Although I have yet to find a real solution. Thanks for taking the time to read this! -Tara |

| It sounds like you have a defective camcorder. It's very possible that the problems you are experiencing did not happen when the camcorder was new and have developed over time. If the camcorder is still under warranty, you should send it in and have Panasonic fix it. If it's not under warranty, your best option would be to buy a new camcorder because the cost of replacing your PV-DV52 will likely be more than buying something else.
