I'm buying a camcorder and need help?

I am no techie and the best I know is what I want- good qualityvideo and pictures and lots of memory space. And a good zoom, and SMALL, and all under 300 bucks???? I am travelign this summer and need soemthing that isn't too bulky and has a good bag
