I have that USB cord but nothing happens. My computer keeps on saying that if I continue, it can damage my computer. Anyone know anything about this? Please help!

it may say that because your computer's old and your camcorder's new or because your camcorders old and your computers new, or maybe there just different systems. bottom line is it porbably wont mess up your computer at all.
