Default how does megapixel work??

is it like higher the number goes the better or lower the number goes it better??so which is better 2.0megapixel or 1.3megapizel

In general, a bigger number is better in the sense that a photo is stored with more data. So a 2 megapixel photo contains more image data than a 1.3 megapixel photo.

2 mp is better than 1.3 mp. A megapixel = 1 million pixels, which is basically 1 million dots of light projected from your screen. For example, a 2 megapixel shot might be 2000x1000 pixels. as opposed to a 1.3 mp shot that measures 1000x1300 pixels.
