Default how do i..........video camera?

i just got a videos camera for my b-day and i need to no how to get what i have recorded on a dvd or vhs tape i recorded on to a tape [the kind made for video cameras] and i dont no how to get it on to something else please help me i am wanting to send so videos up to my family they live really far awayit records on to mini dvthe model of my camcorder is a JVCthe computer is a compact made in '06and thank you isbn51499

u got the cables if so 1) plug in 2 back of vcr AV then put vcr on 2 av1 or av2 then record2) if u got a dvd record do the same as 1 then record

Well you didnt mention the type of camera you are using, some of them have a firewire or usb connection to easily let you transfer your video to your computer.If it does it probably came with software to burn dvd's with, and if none was included you might consider Nero Burning ROM, thats what I use and it works pretty well. If the camera doesnt have a firewire of usb connection then it gets a little harder. What I use is a TV tuner on my PC, it allows me to capture video from an external source like a camera or vcr to my computer. I can later burn that video to dvd using Nero.For transferring the video to vhs tape its the easiest, your vcr or camera manual should have instructions for doing that, but vhs recording quality isnt the best.
