first time I have transferred recording off my video camera t my PC but the files on the PC are now way too big to go onto dvd, how do i do it?

Too big to go onto a DVD , why not split the scenes/movies onto two disks ??I can't think of the names of the programs out there now as i used to use afew but no longer do .... there are programs that can resample your videos and convert them into a smaller file size , without necessarily changing the video files type (extension) ..... just off the top of my head try using nero recode , it may be that it can recode/resample your files to a smaller file size .sorry I couldn't be of more help than that ... good luck
