I need to be able to put the dvd (mini) in my dvd+rw drive and play it on my computer... Help

You should have an option on the camera itself for finalizing. My sony, you have to page down on the menu screen to get the finalize option.

Some DVD camcorders (I think Canon & Hitachi) requires the camcorder to be powered by the AC adapter in order to finalize a disc - if the camcorder is powered by a battery, the finalize disc function would be greyed out and can not be selected from the menu.
