How can I record off the t.v with a camera and not have black lines going through??
Can you do that? Is it possible given the copyrights of programmes and films ?
if your thinking of just pointing it at the screen , then youl always get black lines, y not plug it in, use some RCA leads, or your scart, if u must point ,them try adjusting the white balance while its running
Would need to know what kind of camera you are using. The BEST way is to take the source of the tv image (a VCR, DVD player, Cable box, etc) and take the line out and run that into your camera -- assuming it has inputs. If you must shoot the screen, use the slowest shutter speed you can, otherwise the roll bar is going to be an issue. Also, if there is any way to shoot a flat screen (LCD, Plasma) instead of a CRT, your image will be much better.
That depend on the quality of your camera equipment and your TV using your audio and video cables.
It can be done without black lines- my 10 year old adds clips to his you tube videos from the Simpsons, Nascar races.. he doesn't get the lines running through it... as far as copyright goes- agree but that is only if you are selling/ profiting off it..
