If you think you would want to shoot outdoors more then go for Panasonic PV-GS80 or Canon ZR830 Mini DV Camcorder. But my suggestion to you would be to check out Video Only. They will match/beat anyprice anywhere. Stear clear of Best buy they know nothing and their prices are no deal. Their is a video only in Lynnwood I think you can look it up. I know my parents got theirs their. Sony is a GREAT brand. I would look for something that comes with battery and charger. Get the most for your money. Good luck
