Most of you should be familiar with the GL1 and the other camera im looking at is this one Sony - 12.1MP Handycam High-Definition Camcorder w/120GB Hard Drive and 3.2" LCD Screen - Black - HDR-XR500V

Im going to be using it for shooting home made music videos as well as recording club events ( low lighting) I dont know anything about camcorders so can someone tell me which one would be better for what im trying to do thanks.
