hi i got a camcorder for Christmas and i have taken i whole heap of movies on it.i tried finalizing it but it wont work.i plug it in.turn it on.and i press Func. i go down to the bottom to menu then down one to disc operations and it doesn't say finalize it only says disc info and disc initialize and it doesn't say finalize. why?i keep thinking it's already finalized but nothing comes up on the computer if i put the disc in. if something has come up on the computer.where do i find it ? please help if anyone knows this please tell me i will be very grateful. make sure you pt it in playback mode and make sure its plugged in i had same problem it didnt give me the finalize option untill i magically put it in playback mode then presto the option comes up so make sure you put it in playback mode by pressing down on the on/off buttonin order to finalize the disc you must have the the camcorder plugged in and you must have it in playback mode.
