I would like to know if I can edit the sound in places on my handycam without deleting the video. I have a Sony Video camera recorder Video8 XR CCD_TR315E 8. If anyone could help me that would be great. Not too technical though LOL

Your camcorder will not allow you to edit sound only. You would need to transfer the video to your computer first to edit the sound.

And how would I do that??? I am new to all this but would like to learn if it was possible and not too technical. I have windows vista on our pc. Do I need to have special tools to do it??
