Is a dvd video cam corder better than a tape?

Yes, DVD Video camcorder is better than a tape..becuase dvd disk have large storage capacity than the tape..dvd disk signal are in digital format where as tape's signal are in analoge format. There are very big difference in picture quality, DVD Video has grate picture quality and its have resolution 780x580 where as tapes resolution is 355x288 (Approximately), so dvd camcorder is better that a tape
