I'm not aware of any place Hitachi provides for re-downloading the software that came with the camcorder. You might be able to contact Hitachi customer service to see if they can send you a new disk. Otherwise, you should be able to copy the files off the disks by ripping them using the DVD drive in your computer.

Try this link. I believe that installing moviealbumse and starting it, will allow your camera to be recognized by the software so you can move video to your computer.
