Freeview switch over, You need a freeview box and maybe a new areiel, its when the old signal will be turned off. Goodluck

wen they turn off analouge waves and only have digital where have u been for the last 8 years

It means that the analogue TV signal (that's the one we've had since the 1960s) is going to be switched off over the next few years (it's started already). If you want to carry on watching TV, you need to use Freeview, satellite or cable so you can watch digital TV. Basically that means you'll need a new telly - although if yours has a 21 pin socket on the back you can get away with plugging in a £18 box from Tescos.
