I have a Canon Power Shot A540 and for my purposes- snapsots of family and travel memories- it is excellent. Now I have only compared it with two others so mine is not the best evaluation. The reason I like it is that it does have a view finder so I can frame my shots in sunlight and it has a 2.5" screen which lets you see your shots clearly.I am sure there are better cameras around but for ease of use and my kind of "photography" this Canon is superb.
