So I have a Canon sx120 camera, and I have used it for short family videos. The video quality is standard def but looks good to me. The problem I have with it is it has no optical zoom. I have looked at the Flip's and the Kodak Zi8, but am not impressed. There definition looks better, but there video seems to "stutter" or "tear" which my camera does not. So I want to know if there is anything better than these pocket camcorders? I dont need a lot of features, just some optical zoom, smooth video, and decent low light performace, i.e. birthdays and what not. My budget only allows me to spend $200, which I know is not alot. Also Hi def is not that important to me, but I want the camera to use flash memory and easy to connect to computer. Thanks.
