Default Can I play video recordings that I have on DVD-R discs on Windows Media Player
and make copies of them? How??

Windows Media Player can't make copies of DVDs, it only plays DVDs (assuming you have a MPEG-2 decoder installed). To copy the DVDs, you'd want software like Nero or Roxio Easy Media Creator.
