ok... so my friend is gone to the filipines for break, and me and my friend are recording lectures from our AP chemistry class, so we could send them to him. Everything is done recording, all we gotta do is burn and transfer to the PC. i popped in the recorded (not blank) dvd into the drive and it shows up blank. whats the deal with that? Yes, the drive reads dvds and im 100% sure. I'm guessing you have to have the dvd in the camcorder and transfer it by usb. if there is any other solution, plz tell me, cuz i would hate for all that hard work of recording. go to waste. Especially if there is software involved

Did you make sure the lense was off when you recorded it?

Was it in recording mode when you used it? If it's blank on the disc & memory then i can say it's wasted work..
