Default camcorder to computer?

I want to play my camcorder videos on computer, but am not sure how to connect them. The camcorder is about 8 years old and only has a 5mm jack lead hole, no others.Could anyone point out to me what I need to buy, either from argos or maplin? Thanks

Now a days you your camcorder would come with a usb cord to connect to your pc. You would need to go to Best Buy, Circuit City or a store like it, tell them what you have and you should be able to buy an adapter or something.

I have found that it's best to take the cam with you to the store, that way you will get the right connection. There are so many variations.
