Hello folks
It seems that I cannot get my new Sony Camcoder Docking station to connect to my PC using firewire.

I will be getting this Camcorder fixed, but is there any way, other than buying a new camcorder, to download miniDV video from tape to a PC ?

I do not want to use the USB as the video quality is much worse using USB than iLink/firewire
