| Hi all, I have a question about WMP 11 in Vista. Whenever WMP starts, the mouse pointer rapidly switches between the normal arrow and the arrow with a small hourglass (working in the background pointer) for 25-30 seconds and then stops. (I changed the mouse pointers from Windows Aero to 3D White so that I could observe the situation more clearly) This happens every time I start WMP, with or without a file, so it has got nothing to do with the file that is being played at the time. It doesn't affect the quality of the audio or the video; they play just fine, but the pointer just flashes rapidly and stops flashing. The flashing continues even if I minimize WMP and switch to other apps. This has been observed and verified on two Vista computers. Both are fully patched, including the March updates. I believe this started to happen very recently, but of course, I could be wrong; this could be a "feature" that I wasn't aware of until recently. Does anybody else experience the same problem, well, not problem, but minor annoyance? Any suggestions as to why this might be happening? Any solutions or answers? Best regards, Ertugrul.
