| If any user decides he or she does not want Windows Media Player on any version of Windows Vista, is it possible to completely delete it off? Not just disable it or have an alternative as default, but completely remove it from the system? |

| Not in any supported fashion. If you wanted a system without Windows Media Player, the Windows Vista N systems are designed for you. If you are not on an N system, the Set Program Access and Defaults tool lets you hide the access points to Windows Media Player. -- Speaking for myself only.
