| I upgraded my browser to IE8 and Media Player 11, and now I cannot get ANY streaming video that is in Windows Media PLayer format to play. Flash sites like youtube work fine, as do embedded quicktime links, however any site that uses embedded windows media, whether audio or video simply does not play. I either get a blank box where te video/audio should be or the red x. I tried downgrading to IE7 again and it did nothing. This happens in ALL browsers, firefox, IE, chrome, Opera, Safari... Do i need to fix something in my registry? It's getting very fristrating at this point. -- zwegan |

| I too have upgraded to IE8 (seems a bit slower than IE7) and WMP11 is my only multimedia player. Absolutely no problem whatsoever.
