With MP3 files, the sound is interrupted for about 2 seconds when there is 20
seconds remaining on the track. Anybody else have this problem?

No. Just another of scores of dumb Movie Maker and Media Player
mistakes Microsoft never owns up to. I use Mp3 files in my video
project all the time with Sony's Vegas and NEVER any problems of any
kind ever incorporating them into videos, making some collection of
songs I burn to a CD or DVD, nothing. It just works. Don't you wish
Vista did?
