I've had this same problem with Windows Movie Maker. All the movies
that I burn using this device come out fine.. only on the menu screen
do the green bars appear. They also like to show up on the windows for
the select a scene feature. After hearing the concern about downloading
that Codec Package I definately don't want to do that and make my Vista
bad. By the way most of my Movies are XVid or copies of Dvdrips.. I
hear that it could be Copyright problems..could anyone explain what the
copyright thing might do? Oh BTW I do have the XVid Codec installed as
well

I too have made a movie with movie maker and after publishing it to my
computer it has a two inch green bar towards the top puching hte whole clip
upwards. It does not appear throughout the movie, only on certain clips. I
want to be able to fix it, but am leary about downloading anything. I have
th Xvid codec on my computer, and it works to play those vodeos, but when I
take them and put them into movie maker they are the same ones with the green
lines. Help please!
