I am having a similar problem. Vista recognizes the camera for about 10
seconds and then loses it. Don't count on your computer manufacturer
for support, they will send you to JVC. Don't count on JVC for support
they will send you to windows.com.

It appears that the cameras are not compatible with Vista yet. If
anyone finds something, please let us know.
