I suggest you read up on video formats in wikipedia just so you can get your understanding around the basics of video formats. I suggest this because I can;t think of any conversion software that doesn;t reqire some basic understanding of things like Frame size, bit rate, file type (.avi , mpeg2, wmv or flv, just to name a few). Video is complicated and more so when we start to get into the high definition stuff.
