| If I open any map, there are no small displays anymore to see for example the photo. I only see the standard pictograph that is used by windows for for example a photo or movie. So in my map pictures I don't see the pictures anymore, but only the same pictograph over and over... I have to open the picture or start windows photogallery to see what is in the picture... How can I change this setting??? I didn't change anything in the first place! |

| I'm sorry to have to say, but I suddenly find myself with a similar problem. I've had my new PC for about a week now without any problems, but today when I right-clicked on my desktop to change the wallpaper, instead of seeing small images of all the wallpapers available, all I now see is a generic image. This is very annoying. Does anyone know how to rectify this problem? "Rasteddy" wrote: > If I open any map, there are no small displays anymore to see for example the > photo. | If you check the View settings for that folder, are you in Thumbnail view still? -- Speaking for myself only. See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. | Hello I solved the problem and it was as you suspected, I had turned off thumbnail view. After discovering this (shortly after posting this message), I reset it back to its original setting and everything was fine. That's one of the frustrating things about computers; changing one little setting and then forgetting that you've done it, can cause a lot of problems. Thanks your help anyway. Much appreciated.
