| As far as I know, unless you revert to older drivers OR contact Intel support, you are absolutely dead in the water here. This seems to be confirmation of exactly what you're seeing. It works in those "strange" situations because something is clipping the video window. That's a really old work-around for video card driver problems... which is apparently exactly what you're seeing. So: either revert to the old driver OR contact Intel support.
