| I have a few wma music files which I downloaded free after purchasing CD's from Coldplay, McCartney, etc. Now when I try to play the files, I get this message "You do not have the rights to play this file. Go to the contant provider's web site to find out how to obtain the necessary play rights. Address: licence.neuroticmedia.net\getLicense.asp". I contacted the site but they tell me now that the promotion when the CD's were first sold is over, they can't help me. They suggested I contact MS. Any suggestion that might fix the DRM issue and allow me to play the files? Thanks |

| The rights to the content are issued by the content provider - if they're no longer issuing licenses, you would be unable to play the content any further. I'm not sure what MS would be able to do for you here... ? -- Speaking for myself only. See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
