To open a Command Prompt as an Administrator ("Elevated" Command Prompt), type
cmd in the Start Search box above the Start Orb. When "cmd.exe" appears at the
top of the Start Menu, right click on it and select "Run as Administrator".

Then enter unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMPVersion and press Enter.

Default Please elaborate

ZachD or Cal Bears (Berkley grad myself, actually), if you could provide any more insight into this problem I'd appreciate it.

This is the first instance that I've found of a fix for this problem but when enter unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMPVersion into the admin cmd prompt (C:\windows\system32>) I get no response.

Is there a file I must download first?
