Default itunes burning error - vista business os

I'm running vista business os. I'm able to burn data disks fine, but when i
use itunes to burn audio disks, it starts to initialize the burn, but then
stops and gives me the following message: "The attempt to burn a disc failed.
An unknown error occurred (2131)." Since I'm running vista business, i had
to download a driver to play dvd movies, and i'm wondering if it's a similar
situation? anyone know what i should do??

Have you checked the Apple iTunes forums?

I have the same issue. I have visited the Itunes communities with no luck.
It has to be an operating system issue.

Cool Apple unknown error occurred (2131) Resolved

If you have a Dell Laptop, then the fix is probably a firmware update. This link should definately help. Download the file and extract it to a folder. Double click the executable and then search for the bin file (button in the upper left hand corner). Open the bin file and if your cd or dvd burner matches the bin file, the update will run. Restart the computer. This has worked every time that we have applied it.

    Drivers and Downloads

Click the above link into your browser and download the file (see instructions above). The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
