| I posted this in another thread and now found this topic. I thought I might get another opinion here....sorry if you read this in the general disucussion. My computer is memorizing all pictures that I ever load into the computer. I will put my sd card in and it will want to download all pictures that have ever been put in the computer. This includes pictures that were loaded thru a cd...which should not have anything to do with loading my sd card. How can I stop this from happening? It just makes a new folder and starts at the first pic ever put in the computer....... -- kimblythe |

| Kimblythe: Can you tell us what's launching to perform this task when you insert a CD or a SD card, etc? Is it some media library or photo gallery software? In general, I prefer not to use software that comes with digital cameras, opting instead to simply plug in the card or camera, and use Windows Explorer, where it just shows up as another drive (essentially). Then I can copy whichever files I want. Much better IMO than some software that sticks the files into places most users can't find, requiring all actions to be done using their software. Let us know more so that we can help... -- -me. Let this forum know if this helps or if you figure out the problem, so others can benefit. | Kimblythe, Why don't you just delete the pics from the card that you have already loaded into your computer?
