Default How can I download a MPEG-1(50) codec?

HELLO THIS IS NMNOKA.. I JUST ENCOUNTED A ERROR MESSAGE BELOW WHILE
PLAYING A MP3 AUDIO FILE.. HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD A MPEG-1(50) CODEC?
*Windows Media Player Error Message Help*

You've encountered error message C00D10D1 while using Windows Media
Player. The following information might help you troubleshoot the issue.

CODEC IS MISSING
Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the
audio or video portion of the file) because the Microsoft MPEG-1 (50)
codec is not installed on your computer.
The missing codec might be available to download from the Internet. To
search for the Microsoft MPEG-1 (50) codec,
function showHide(subText){var
textBlock=document.getElementById(subText);var
imgSign=document.getElementById('g'+subText);if(te xtBlock.style.display=='inline'){textBlock.style.d isplay='none';imgSign.src='/windows/windowsmedia/images/whplus.gif';}else{textBlock.style.display='inline' ;imgSign.src='/windows/windowsmedia/images/whminus.gif';}}

If you rename it to ".mpg", does it then play correctly?

I had the same problem with some mp.3 files too. I used power2go from
cyberlink and converted the mp.3 file to mp.3 again. And it works every time
