| I'm brand new to Vista and accidentally automatically copied the folders to the Photo Gallery. I can't delete them from there without deleting them from the computer and I can't move them out of there. I've so much that copied it's clogging it up. Please, can you tell me how to get the folders - Music, Desktop, Favorites, in fact my entire My Document folder from my old PC, out of there. Obviously I am challenged with Vista! TIA Marri |

FWIW, I'm using Vista Home Premium and I'm the Admin. Marri |

| If you would like to clear Windows Vista Photo Gallery...try the following... ============================ The following steps should clear the Photo Gallery...then you can add any folder you choose. Open Photo Gallery and go to... File / Add Folder to Gallery In the Folder field...Type C:\ The drop window will open... In the drop window...choose... C:\Users / OK / OK In the left pane of Photo Gallery under "Folders"...right click..."Users" From the menu...choose... "Remove From The Gallery" / Yes. That should do it..... Now you can go to...File / Include a folder in the gallery...and choose any folder you prefer. === If the result is not what you hoped for... Right click your Start button and choose...Explore... Navigate to the following folder: C:\Users\>UserName<\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Window s Photo Gallery Delete everything in the folder... Specifically...Pictures.pd4 and NavTree.State The next time you open the Photo Gallery it will be as it was the first time you opened it.
