Default Good News: how to quickly rip a DVD

Have you ever been fed up with the slow ripping speed by the DVD Ripper you are using? You would never expect to spend longer time on ripping than the duration of the time, would you? There are ways to speed up DVD Ripping, for example, to rip DVD directly from DVD Rom rather than copying it to Hard Disk or to choose XVID movie rather than DIVX movie, or to install API layer etc. There, after all, are external elements. The most important thing is the DVD Ripper itself. This is philosophical truth.

Today I am going to show you how to rip DVD fast with Pavtube DVD Ripper 2.0, which is the latest version. This program, itself, is a fast one, and can rip DVD with supreme fast speed and there are also some skills to be faster. And don’t worry about the output video quality. The fast ripping speed does not degrade output video quality at all.

First, if you want to speed up DVD Ripping, you can choose to backup DVDs to your hard disk firstly and this means you need to decrypt the files in advance. In this way, you can set the max process and rip up to three files at once. And thus the ripping time would be shorter.

Second, if you have DVD movie with interactive games and menu tiles, ignore those chapter or title info since even if you select them, you can not output game or menus that is available to use. And chances are these chapter or tiles takes quite a lot of time to convert to video.
Take the DVD movie of Garfield for example, you can choose the main movie to convert only.

Third, Pavtube DVD Ripper provides features of trimming the video as well as splitting and merging. Therefore you can select the titles or chapters that you want to convert to video, rather than convert the entire movie. Or you can just trim the movie by cutting the ads and cast, to shorten the movie and thus to save time on ripping. You can first rip the first hour of the DVD movie and watch it first and then trim the rest of the movie and rip while enjoying first hour.
