i have a sd card with some video and pictures on it, that is stored under a file called ehthumbs_vista.db but i can not open any ideas what i need to view this file please help

That's merely a reference file of thumbnails of images on the computer - it doesn't actually contain any images and is largely useless. While the name is different, here's an explanation of thumbs.db files and what they do.
