Is there any way to apply an existing tag to new items - esp, jpegs - by
dragging and dropping a selection (probably multiple items) onto a
"tagger" - which could be e.g. another file or virtual folder or...? which
gets its INITIAL value from the first item dragged onto it? (a cookie
templated cookie cutter?)

Where does Photo Gallery get its tag list from?
