Default Codecs Windows Movie Maker Vista

I am trying to import music from a CD into my windows movie maker file
(running on Vista Home Premium). I get the following error: cannot be
imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your
computer. I have no problems on my PC running XP, but cannot do on laptop
running Vista. I have no problems with Vista importing into Windows Media
Player. I have tried xilsoft, but get an error stating can only be installed
on XP. Any ideas would be helpful.

Did you RIP the CD using WMP11 with
..wma as the target format?

Windows Vista
Rip music from a CD

I'm thinking Movie Maker could import
the .wma files.
