| I am trying to import music from a CD into my windows movie maker file (running on Vista Home Premium). I get the following error: cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. I have no problems on my PC running XP, but cannot do on laptop running Vista. I have no problems with Vista importing into Windows Media Player. I have tried xilsoft, but get an error stating can only be installed on XP. Any ideas would be helpful. -- Kathy |

Windows Vista Rip music from a CD http://tinyurl.com/2jfc3y I'm thinking Movie Maker could import the .wma files. -- John Inzer MS Picture It! - Digital Image MVP Digital Image Highlights and FAQs http://support.microsoft.com/ph/695 Notice This is not tech support I am a volunteer Solutions that work for me may not work for you Proceed at your own risk
