Default Animated Graphics

I have tons of animated graphics which I used to be able to view the
animation in the Windows Viewer when using XP. Whoever decided to remove
this ability from Vista should be fired! This has probably cost me more
money in time that the cost of the whole program. Anyway, does anyone know
if Windows 7 will rectify this? I'm finding more and more reasons to avoid
Microsoft products. Thanks, Ellin

Here's an extract from one of my website pages.

Windows Live Photo Gallery doesn't open GIF files, and Windows Live Movie
Maker treats animated GIFs as still pix without animation. To convert an
animated GIF to a playable editable WMV video file, use one the classic
versions of Movie Maker such as MM2.6.

Nothing changes with Windows 7.

Try IrfanView to view the animated Gifs...
