Hi Folks,

I purchased the Sanyo VPC-FH1A at local Frys Electronics in Dallas for $ 499. I realized today that Frys is actually a good store as they had nearly all Sony, Canons and the Sanyo FH1A on display. In terms of low-light (and mind you - this is based on the small LCD display observation); here is the best to worst:

1) Sony CX500/ 520 & the XR500/ 520 - winners hands-down
2) Sanyo FH1A
3) Canon HF S10 & S100 - tie
4) Canon HF 200

The final decision will be driven when I shoot indoor in the living room with the Canon HF200 (I bought it from Costco 3 weeks ago) and the Sanyo FH1. If I like the FH1, it will be a keeper till next year. If not, I will pay the 15% restocking fee and go for the Sony XR500 or XR520. I am taking a risk; time will tell if it is rewarding or not.
